Have a browse, look around: Very often clicking on
a products corresponding picture will display a page
showing more details. When you have found what you to buy, simply
enter a quantity into the box and click
Don't worry if you change your mind, selecting the
"Checkout" button will display your basket's
contents where you can modify any items quantity or delete it
altogether. Even after you
have entered your credit card number and delivery details, you
will be given a final opportunity to change any aspect of your
order. We make it clear when your payment will be charged.
A couple of points that may warrant further explanation
is our delivery System, and how orders from overseas may be
affected: May we put you at ease as to how these work:
When you finalise your order, you will be
asked to indicate your destination country, and if applicable,
the postcode or zip code. This will allow us to automatically
calculate the shipping charges for your order, which will be
clearly displayed: If available, you will be given the
opportunity to choose a delivery option, should you wish to do
so. The final "grand total" for your order will be
calculated, based on your choice, and displayed on the final
"confirm details" page so that you can decide whether to go ahead with
your order or not. If you wish to change any of the details
(such as a mis-spelled address) you can do so from here.
We can deliver to most overseas destinations.
Check out the list of countries on the checkout page to see if
yours is included. However, from time to time certain items
(usually over size/ heavy items) are not available overseas,
and these will be clearly indicated on the product display
pages: You may still add these items to your order, but if you
select a destination country outside of the United Kingdom
then these items will be removed from your 'shopping
basket': You will still be able to order any other
items though.
Just occasionally, we may stock items that
have a separate shipping process, or be of such a size/weight
that we cannot include it with other items in the same parcel.
Any of these "Ship Alone" items will be displayed separately,
either showing a fixed cost for delivery, or giving you a separate
choice of delivery options, which ever is applicable. Even at
this stage, if you wish to change your mind, just go to the
"Checkout" page to remove/ modify items in your
order.
Most items are despatched immediately, but some items have to come from our suppliers, so may take a little longer. Please allow 15 days for delivery.
A common concern is "Can I accidentally send
my order twice?" The answer is "No!"
Our system has two safeguards: Not only does the website track
your 'shopping session', beginning a new one should you try to
submit the same order twice, but our credit card payment processor
prevents payment from the same card number within an hour of each
other. So go ahead, if you lost your connection to the Internet, or it seems to be taking a long time, click refresh or
"Send Payment" again.
You may worry about the security of shopping on
the Internet: We hope we can put your mind to rest on this.
When you decide to finalise your purchase, you
will be taken to our secure server, and will be clearly told on
the checkout page when this happens: You will also see a small,
closed lock or unbroken key in your web browsers status bar,
telling you you are on a secure site. At this stage we also log
your IP address and the time to help prevent fraudulent transactions
Quite simply, a secure site means that the data
you send us is strongly encrypted, so that your credit card data,
name and address and other details, in the extremely
unlikely event of their interception, will just be a meaningless
jumble. Your transaction, still secure, is passed on to our
payment service provider who, through the banks, will confirm or
refuse the purchase within a few seconds.

is only used while your payment is confirmed:
We make it our policy not to write this data to our records.
Our opinion is that, because the transaction
process is automated, the human link is removed, as is the most
common temptation to commit fraud.
Every day people order goods and services with
their credit card over the telephone, fax and post, or hand their
card to complete strangers in restaurants and shops. We hope that
we have convinced you that the Internet is no less secure, and
indeed can be more secure, than these.
