The information below explains exactly how a from the shops website will work for your customers, with links to screenshots of the various processes. (But please be aware this is a live site, so if you buy something, your card will be charged and you will receive the goods!)

People all over the world will be able to:

View your Home Page.

Browse your website by product range or type, or easily search through your products by range, type, keyword or catalogue number. The results of their search are displayed on pages dynamically generated from the information in the database.

Shoppers have the ability to click on the item to display a page showing a larger picture and fuller description. This allows for speedier presentation of your products, without losing the opportunity of presenting your products to their best advantage.

At any point the shopper can select a quantity and click on the “add to order” button, which keeps a running total of all products selected for when they wish to finalise their shopping.

As each item is added to the virtual “shopping basket”, you, the supplier have a further chance to promote your products with a special feature: Each of your products can be linked to another product with a tailored “Suggestive Selling Message”. Quite simply, if a shopper has just added a coat to their order, the message “These look great with our pure lambs wool scarves” can be displayed, with a direct link to your lambs wool scarves, so that the shopper may also buy these.

At any point a shopper may check the contents of their basket, where they may modify or delete any part of their order. They are not committed to purchasing until the final pages.

When a shopper has completed their selection, they simply go the checkout process, where they enter their payment and delivery details, submitting this to our payment processing service.

Upon successful clearance of their credit card, the customers order details are simultaneously recorded to the shops database, and forwarded via email or fax to you, the supplier, to fulfill. Orders may also be retrieved using your own secure link to the online database.

As part of the process:

Once the funds have cleared through, an automatic deposit will be made to your bank for the sales from your website, less our commission charge.

All invoicing, Vat receipts etc. are automatically generated via our “Back-End” process, to reduce the time involved in running and maintaining your website.

You have the ability to access your own website, via your own secure administration section. Here you will be able to:

Check sales reports and orders and print out order details.

You will also have access to a private section of this website, where you request changes, download and print administration forms etc.
